The 24th edition of the Meeting International de la Province de Liège will welcome numerous top Belgian athletes on Wednesday 15 July.
In the 600 metres, Eliott Crestan will once again be aiming to break the national record. He broke that record for the first time at the Province Naimette Arena in 2024. He will be joined by Tibo De Smet, one of Belgium’s top middle-distance runners.
In the women’s events, Camille Laus, 600 metres Belgian record holder, is making her return to Belgium for the summer season. She, too, will be aiming to break the national record.
Another Belgian record holder, Yanla Ndjip-Nyemeck, will line up for the 100-metre hurdles, whilst in the pole vault, Ben Broeders is aiming for a fourth consecutive victory.
Two members of the national relay teams, Rani Rosius and Christian Iguacel, will compete in the 100 metres and 400 metres respectively.
Two-time Belgian Champion Mimoun Abdoul Wahab will appear in the 400-metre hurdles.
Finally, Rémi Schyns will be in action in the 3,000-metre steeplechase, whilst Jef Vermeiren will be flying the flag for Belgium in the high jump.
